Tri-Valley Moto was founded by Kari and Gail Prager and Mike and Anya Meissner in 2003. It all started with a piece of land and a vision to build a great new motorcycle dealership. We finally found the ideal site in Livermore, right on the 580 Freeway at the Airway Blvd. Exit. Back then it was just a big, open field, but we could envision a new dealership there!
Our History:
Tri-Valley Moto opened its doors in August 2008 but its heritage is over 30 years old. Kari and Gail Prager were part of the original founders of California BMW (now CalMoto) in 1981 by a group of enthusiast BMW riders. Their vision was to create a dealership dedicated to a love for motorcycles and a desire for excellence. California BMW helped to establish the Bay Area as one of BMW's strongest markets nationwide and is widely recognized as a top BMW dealer in the USA. By 1995, Kari and Gail were sole owners of the enterprise and added the Triumph brand. California Triumph became one of the first franchised Triumph dealers in the USA and has been one of Triumph's top American dealers ever since achieving Triumph Premier Group Platinum status in 2006.
Mike Meissner joined the team at CALmoto in 2000 bringing with him a love for motorcycling and a broad dealership management background to the business. Everything we do is about sharing our experience, love and passion for the sport of motorcycling. "Experience Shared". Kari, Gail and Mike all worked together to grow and expand the business, eventually adding Tri-Valley Moto in Livermore. The Tri-Valley Moto, CalMoto combination has made us the largest BMW and Triumph dealership group in the California. In November 2010, our Founder, Kari Prager, passed away unexpectedly. Mike and Anya Meissner have since purchased the dealerships from Gail and she continues to work in the dealerships and is an active part of the business.
Who We Are:
We are all motorcycle riders. Collectively, our staff has ridden hundreds of thousands of miles, our service department has well over 100 years of professional mechanical experience, and our founders have more than sixty years of dealership operations expertise. Together, we have created a shop that encourages your enjoyment of the sport and believes that educating the rider about the technology and traditions of motorcycling is part of the pleasure of ownership. All of us at Tri-Valley Moto are ready to share with you the enjoyment of riding, and, as enthusiasts, encourage your growth in motorcycling as a sport. We strive to share our enthusiasm for motorcycling with our customers and we pride ourselves in offering a professional and friendly experience. We take part in all types of riding, from touring to street sport, track riding, off road adventuring, or just cruising.

Whether you prefer to tour long country roads on your Luxury Touring bike or carve the twisties on your Sport bike we have a bike for you. Maybe you prefer an adventure ride on your Dual Sport bike or a blast through the forest on your dirt bike? Then again, if it's the intensity of the motocross track you desire, we have a full line of KTM Motocross bikes for you. Never before have we been able to offer the model variety and breadth of choices to our customers that we will have available at Tri-Valley, and we are tremendously excited to be working with three such dynamic and innovative European companies.
Tri-Valley Moto is a full service dealership offering Parts, Sales and Service for your BMW, Triumph or KTM and features a massive parts and accessories inventory with the ability to meet all of your on or off road motorcycling needs. To further expand our ability to meet your parts needs, we can draw from the inventory of both Tri-Valley Moto and CALmoto through our linked computer system. This relationship offers our customers access to the largest selections of parts and accessories in the Bay Area.
